StuffPlug NG - MSN plugin-plugin.

.

If you’re already familiar with MsgPlus – a feature packed MSN Messenger addin – you may or may not be aware of the fact that MsgPlus can itself install add-ons of its own.

One such add-on is StuffPlus NG, adding a rather smaller array of features but two which I already find indispensable:

Timestamps in conversations

No more losing track of messages by displaying the time of arrival/dispatch next to each message

Tabbed Messages

For the tab-fiend in all of us (see: Firefox, Opera converts). Rather than have a gazillion chat windows open at once, have them all in one and separated by tabs. A little buggy, but rather nice all the same

Verrry nice.

  1. Ben

You can find it at http://www.stuffplug.com/ ;-)

I have to say, having used it for a little bit, that the tabs are not as good as they first seem and I’ve stopped using them. However, the other features I mentioned are well worth it.

I don’t know if it works with the MSN7 Beta.

  2. TB

Hi, got here trough a little google search :P
I’m glad you like my plugin ;)
I’m working on writing a better tabbed-conversations engine, expect it somewhere in version 2.2 (2.0 is just in private beta phase).
And yes, there is already a MSN7 compatible version, but It’s still a bit bugy :P
